Job Overview

Biograph is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in New York, NY. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the delivery of healthcare services at our clinic. This role involves providing direct patient care, contributing to administrative tasks, and working closely with the clinic's Medical Director and management team to ensure exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to deliver personalized care
  • Perform lab draws, vitals, and physical exams, as well as other assessments
  • Prepare for appointments by registering patients, prepping rooms, and equipment
  • Data input and limited charting
  • Collect and collate member data into custom reports
  • Perform back-of-house clinical and administrative duties
  • Assist in care coordination of the patient experience
  • Perform additional assigned tasks and ad hoc projects

Requirements:

  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
  • 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Innovative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and track record of reliable follow-through
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly flexible start-up environment
  • Possesses the expertise to deliver personalized, top-tier service to a discerning client base
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with both members and colleagues
  • Proficient with G-suite and adaptable to learning new software
  • Ability to work in our San Mateo clinic 5 days a week, no nights or weekends
  • Experience in non-traditional healthcare environment preferred
