Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals, fostering a highly engaged team environment that prioritizes resident satisfaction.
- Occupancy Management: Maintain acceptable levels of occupancy (minimum 98%) through effective marketing and leasing strategies.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete move-out paperwork, perform unit inspections, review rental applications, and ensure timely collections of all monies due to the community.
- Financial Management: Process community invoices, manage staff payroll, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Community Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with community owners, residents, and other stakeholders.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1+ year of previous experience as a residential property manager, with HUD/Section 8 experience preferred. Alternatively, 3 years of experience in a general manager position or similar role with exceptional people leadership and process management skills.
- Skills: Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams. Experience with Yardi or similar platform a plus.
- Personal Qualities: Highly analytical with strong financial acumen, engaged in work, strong communicator, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented.
