Job Overview

IXIS is seeking a skilled technical professional to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting problems, and fielding inquiries related to our proprietary data platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with our data platform
  • Configure, maintain, and support internal IT systems, including device management, user management, and project management systems
  • Provision laptops for new hires, configure, and distribute to remote colleagues, manage inventory, and support colleagues with hardware issues
  • Respond to client support requests, work closely with the Engineering and Product teams to research and resolve client issues
  • Proactive monitoring of the product, ensuring that nightly jobs complete successfully and accurately
  • Provision/deprovision users, manage licenses, and ensure proper security is adhered to
  • Constant evaluation and improvement of processes and policies

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated technical proficiency with computer systems
  • 5+ years of experience in a support or help desk role
  • 1-2 years of real-world experience with information technology support
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Core critical thinking skills, including good problem-solving
  • Strong focus on quality
  • Customer service-focused
  • Curious and enjoys solving problems
