IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Beta Technologies. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees, including troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software issues.
- Install and configure computer systems, software, and peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updating software and hardware.
- Document and track technical issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience in administration and provisioning of user accounts and devices.
- Exposure to Google Admin, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, and Apple Business Manager.
- Strong technical writing skills for creating clear and detailed documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Atlassian products like Confluence and Jira.
- Knowledge of workplace communication tools like Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and ALM software like PLEX, Polarion, 3DX, and Solidworks.
- Basic understanding of common scripting in Powershell.
- Ability to troubleshoot or diagnose network issues.
- Experience with installing and supporting audio-video equipment.
Work Environment:
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
- Off-hours work is sometimes required to perform off-hours system maintenance.
- Occasional travel may be required for on-site support and system installations.
