Position Objective: Warehouse associates are essential to our company’s success. They actively, safely, and independently ensure the smooth flow of products through our distribution system while maintaining quality standards. As an Inventory Auditor, you will oversee and uphold the accuracy and sufficiency of inventories within the Operating Company.

Main Responsibilities: The Inventory Auditor is responsible for compiling and maintaining records of the quantity, type, and value of materials, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.

Key Duties Include:

  • Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and updating total inventory records.
  • Comparing physical inventories with office records or computing figures from records.
  • Verifying calculations against physical stock counts and correcting errors or investigating discrepancies.
  • Compiling receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
  • Monitoring inventory rotations and making recommendations as necessary.
  • Preparing reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
  • Reviewing and analyzing daily reports.
  • Maintaining shrinkage at or below company standards.
  • Preparing lists of depleted items and recommending surveys of defective or unusable items.
  • Performing other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months of inventory experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in mathematics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to adhere to scheduled work times and required overtime.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing between 10-35 pounds, and occasionally up to 60-90 pounds, depending on the location.
  • Comfortable working in various temperature environments, including cooler, freezer, and dry areas.
  • Must pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
