Senior GitLab Systems Engineer

Position Overview:
Purisolve, Inc. is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable GitLab Engineer who is a U.S. Citizen to become a vital part of our innovative team. In this role, you will oversee and maintain all facets of our enterprise GitLab and PostgreSQL databases within our DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline. Your collaboration with various organizational teams will be crucial to ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our GitLab infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the enterprise GitLab and PostgreSQL environments, ensuring high availability of services.
- Oversee clustering operations and integrate GitLab with essential tools such as ServiceNow and Qualys.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the GitLab environment and support the underlying RHEL infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, particularly in a GitLab context.
- Demonstrated expertise in GitLab High Availability clustering for large-scale environments (3,000+ users).
- Familiarity with GitLab GEO across active/active sites is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and registered for Selective Service (if male).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience integrating GitLab with ServiceNow and Qualys.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
