DevSecOps AWS Engineer with Terraform and GitLab Expertise

We are seeking a senior-level DevSecOps Engineer with to develop, automate, and manage our CI/CD configurations and pipelines. This role involves supporting both internal and external stakeholders with client-side tools, troubleshooting back-end processes, and scheduling and implementing frequent releases.

The person selected for this position must be able to effectively engage with other team members in a remote setting. Demonstrate the ability to lead team efforts by attending meetings, communicate in a timely manner to stakeholders and team members, and deliver tasks on time.

This is a full-time remote position.

Looking for a Mid-Senior Level individual with solid experience; ability to effectively engage with teams and fit into the culture of the work environment.

 

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

· Expertise in Tools and Methodologies: Proficiency in Terraform, GitLab, Fargate, Packer, and CI/CD best practices.

· AWS Services Proficiency: Experience with AWS services including CloudWatch, EC2, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and KMS.

· AWS CLI: Skilled in developing and using the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI).

· DevSecOps Principles: Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and best practices.

· Cloud Security: Knowledge of cloud security concepts, tools, and automation.

· Programming Languages: Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Java, Node.js, Python, and Bash.

· Software Development: Ability to develop custom software and scripts as needed.

· Support and Monitoring: Assist production staff in monitoring daily batch processes, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting issues.

· Preferred Experience: Experience with SQL Server monitoring and performance optimization is preferred.

Education: Bachelors preferred
