Position Overview: As a Procurement Specialist, you will implement purchasing strategies, spearhead procurement initiatives, and guarantee exceptional customer satisfaction, playing a vital role in the success of the procurement team.

  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Oversee purchase order approvals up to $1,000,000 and address intricate procurement challenges.
  • Facilitate supplier integration and establish key performance indicators for enhanced performance.
  • Lead complex requests for proposals (RFPs) and manage small procurement projects, ensuring value and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to support and refine procurement processes.
  • Provide training to teams on procurement solutions and assist in the development of technology tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Procurement or a related field is essential.
  • Strong skills in project management and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
