Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for overseeing all marketing activities and managing the marketing teams. This role will involve developing and implementing marketing strategies, optimizing team performance, and ensuring that all marketing efforts align with the company's goals and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand growth and market share.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define the company's strategic direction.
- Oversee the creation of marketing plans for each brand, ensuring they align with company objectives.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage all marketing teams, including content creation, digital marketing, social media, and brand management.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the teams.
- Set clear objectives and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline marketing processes and improve operational efficiency across all marketing functions.
- Implement best practices and tools to enhance team productivity and output quality.
- Monitor and optimize marketing budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI.
- Market Analysis and Innovation:
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
- Drive innovation in marketing approaches, staying ahead of industry trends.
- Explore new channels and technologies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing activities.
- Regularly review and analyze marketing performance data, providing actionable insights to the CEO and executive team.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on marketing performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience as a COO, VP of operation, or similar leadership role with a focus on consumer goods is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in digital media marketing, with a proven track record of success.
- 3+ years of experience managing and developing teams, strong leadership skills required.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Meta, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and growing high-performing teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools, with a strong understanding of digital marketing channels.
