POSITION SUMMARY:

Enhance the visitor experience by delivering exceptional customer service through the sale of food, beverages, and merchandise. Contribute to the upkeep of cleanliness in retail areas and food service locations.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Non-Exempt

ROLE DETAILS:

We are actively seeking candidates for this position. No prior experience is required, and we welcome applicants starting at 16 years of age. Flexibility in start and end dates is available. Our retail operations are open throughout the year, with extended hours during peak seasons. Shifts will vary, with availability during weekends as well.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver a high standard of courteous service to all customers.
  • Handle transactions using the Point of Sale system.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock counts.
  • Adhere to cash handling protocols.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service by engaging with guests: Smile and greet, Talk to customers, Ask open-ended questions, Recommend various products, Smile and express gratitude.
  • Maintain a valid Food Handlers Card (training and fees covered).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Participate in staff spiritual life activities.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum age of 16 years.
  • No previous experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Must obtain a food handlers card.

QUALIFICATIONS: To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not include supervisory duties.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and the ability to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity is necessary for reading and communication.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Employees may encounter moderate exposure to various elements, including temperature fluctuations and noise levels that can vary from moderate to loud.
