Job Overview

Summary: We are in search of a seasoned Senior Business Systems Analyst to enhance our Finance & Payment Technology Services. The selected candidate will assess user requirements, document system specifications, and formulate system designs that facilitate the execution and deployment of business solutions. This position necessitates adaptability in working hours to align with management requirements. The ideal applicant will possess substantial experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials modules, proficient PL/SQL skills, and the capability to operate autonomously on high-impact projects.

Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate user requirements to develop system solutions that align with overarching business objectives.
  • Document system specifications, define project scope, and establish objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and end-users, leveraging both business acumen and technical knowledge.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and technical support of Finance & Payment Technology Services applications and systems.
  • Act as a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials modules, including Purchasing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, and General Ledger.
  • Provide solutions for intricate business needs utilizing COTS functionality while minimizing custom development.
  • Employ Agile/Scrum methodologies and management tools, along with IT Service Management Systems.
  • Deliver expert-level support in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Create and update configuration documents, diagrams, and other essential documentation.
  • Engage in Agile ceremonies to ensure the accuracy and validity of business requirements and system performance.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of assigned systems and understand the business processes that support them.
  • Offer on-call and after-hours support as necessary to maintain production systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with customers and end-users to ensure their needs are met satisfactorily.

Documentation Responsibilities:

  • Generate system and user documentation for both existing and newly implemented application software, including:
  • System Documentation
  • Training Materials
  • User Guides

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 13 years of experience in business analysis, software development, or a related discipline.
  • A degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field is preferred; however, four additional years of pertinent experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Ability to independently perform all functional duties on high-visibility or mission-critical programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing direct reports or managing project teams.
  • Experience in training and mentoring junior staff.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials modules.
  • Familiarity with the operating environment and business processes relevant to the client.
