Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing plant in Plymouth, MI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Oversee daily operations, including workflow management, resource allocation, and performance tracking
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational effectiveness
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and mentor a team of employees, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of operations management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team building and development
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
