Job Description

We invite you to join us as a Senior Shopify Solutions Architect, where your primary role will be to convert client requirements into technical development, design frameworks, and seamlessly integrate them with content management systems and search engines to unlock the business potential of emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design an outstanding Digital Consumer experience utilizing the Shopify framework.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the website preparation phase and for all site updates.
  • Contribute to defining requirements, specifications, vendor selections, design, development, and project timelines for key initiatives.
  • Establish strong connections with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to enhance the efficiency and functionality of the online store.
  • Engage in code reviews and pull requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to commerce implementation.
  • Develop best practices for addressing non-functional requirements such as performance and scalability of the e-commerce solution.
  • Act as a mentor and trainer for Junior/Mid-level developers within the team.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in web development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in Shopify site construction, launch, and maintenance, along with a foundational understanding of the administrative system.
  • Prior experience in debugging third-party Shopify apps and creating custom solutions when necessary. Proficiency in working with third-party services, APIs, and Shopify plugins.
  • Thorough understanding and proficiency in vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Varnish, Redis, ElasticSearch, or Solr.
  • Familiarity with HTML 5 and CSS 3 is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Any certification related to development is beneficial.
