Role Summary

The Senior Power Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in the effective design, execution, deployment, and integration of comprehensive solutions. This position ensures that the technical architecture aligns with current and future business requirements. While direct implementation may not be part of the role, the architect is accountable for the overall solution and collaborates closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams. A thorough understanding of how decisions impact the broader solution is essential.

Candidates should possess extensive knowledge and experience within the Dynamics 365 customer applications ecosystem and the Microsoft Power Platform. Additionally, a strong background in finance industry verticals is required. The ideal candidate will facilitate solution design decisions encompassing development, configuration, integration, infrastructure, security, licensing, availability, storage, and change management.

This role requires a balance between the project's business objectives and the fulfillment of functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and provide technical insights on potential Power Platform-based solutions.
  • Conduct solution envisioning and requirement analysis to translate business needs into proposed technical solutions.
  • Review designs to ensure alignment with best practices for Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
  • Understand the current application architecture and desired outcomes to generate innovative solution ideas.
  • Maintain awareness of pre-built patterns and integrations to enhance proposed solutions.
  • Guide the creation of proof of concepts or demonstrations, ensuring they effectively showcase the proposed solutions.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, translating technical discussions into business-focused dialogues.
  • Manage scope effectively while accommodating essential technical changes to meet business success criteria.
  • Facilitate problem-solving across multiple teams, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of interconnected components.
  • Understand Microsoft Power licensing implications for proposed solutions and architect within those constraints.
  • Conduct regular office hours to support platform adoption initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 8-15 years of experience in architecting Microsoft Power solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects.
  • Knowledge of Pega and UiPath.
  • Experience in all phases of application replatforming management, including requirements capture, solution design, architecture design, build, and configuration.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Power best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage confidently with all organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence use cases in the Banking or Finance sector.
  • General knowledge of process improvement frameworks and exposure to process management and automation tools.
