Key Responsibilities- Civil Site Design: Develop and implement civil site designs for residential, commercial, and institutional projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Design and Permitting: Prepare and submit design plans and permits for civil site projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Construction Observation: Conduct site visits and observe construction activities to ensure compliance with design plans and company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including surveyors, planners, and engineers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Technical Calculations: Perform and prepare technical design calculations associated with land development projects, including storm drainage hydraulic sizing, water distribution modeling, and best management practices.
- Preliminary Engineering Evaluations: Conduct preliminary engineering evaluations, including quantity take-offs and opinions of probable construction cost.
- Field Reporting: Prepare and submit field reports, documenting site observations and any issues or concerns.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BSCE) or Engineering Technology (BSCET)
- Certification: EI/EIT certification preferred
- Experience: 0-4 years of qualifying civil engineering design experience
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Civil3D
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personal Qualities: Strong desire to continue learning, advance professionally, and demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, design team environment
