  • Documentation: Accurately document emergency calls and responses in our computer-aided dispatch system.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest emergency response techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in emergency dispatching or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Certifications: Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certification required. Emergency Fire Dispatch (EFD) and Emergency Police Dispatch (EPD) certifications preferred.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires working a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The selected candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
