Project Engineer Job Description

At PROCON, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the construction of our design build commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Management and Field Teams in coordinating project activities to ensure cost, schedule, and document control.
  • Provide tactical support to Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating project activities.
  • Act as a conduit between the office and field teams.
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining project schedules.
  • Support the Project Manager and Superintendent with meeting agendas, minutes, logs, and reports.
  • Effectively manage multiple vendors and subcontractors.
  • Support project in procuring and tracking required products, materials, and equipment.
  • Organize, maintain, and track project documentation in Procore.
  • Assist in project closeout procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Prior internship with a construction management firm or general contractor preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to travel to project sites.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and strategize for optimal solutions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within the construction industry.
  • MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Procore Project Management Software preferred.
