Position Overview

Role Summary

As a Senior Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of sophisticated machine tools and associated equipment. This includes electronic, digital, micro-processor, spindle, N/C, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of intricate machine tools and related apparatus.
  • Interpret and work with complex schematics and technical instructions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to formulate, implement, and refine preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Assist in researching advancements in automation technologies.
  • Oversee and guide the activities of team members as necessary.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on facilities, including furnaces, HVAC systems, water lines, and compressors.
  • Engage in training responsibilities.
  • Fulfill environmental, health, safety, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement duties.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, reports, and records of job tasks.
  • Perform routine servicing of equipment to avert breakdowns and malfunctions, including all responsibilities of an H22 Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of experience in an electro-mechanical field; or
  • Technical Certificate from an accredited institution with a minimum of 4 years of experience in an electro-mechanical field; or
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in an electro-mechanical discipline from an accredited college or university with at least 2 years of practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in electro-mechanical diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Demonstrated skills in precision mechanical equipment repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems.
  • Competence in maintaining electronic, digital, pneumatic, N/C drive, and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with robotics and N/C drive principles and programming.
  • Capability to detail and draft mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Possession of an electrician's license or equivalent experience.
  • Degree in Electronics or relevant practical electronic work experience.
  • HVAC certification.
  • Strong project prioritization skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships by recognizing the needs and sensitivities of others, fostering cooperation, and resolving conflicts to inspire team success.
  • Ability to follow guidance and supervision, adhere to work rules, safety practices, and procedures; meet deadlines; and maintain punctuality and attendance standards.
Additional Information
  • Commitment to obtaining and retaining necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by the position.
  • This role may necessitate attendance at relevant training sessions outside of regular working hours.
  • The successful candidate must be able to obtain a fork-truck license.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
