Assistant Manager, Full Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Circle K. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the store's operations, including hiring, supervising, and training staff.
- Ensure that the store is well-stocked, clean, and organized, and that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
- Manage cash handling and bookkeeping duties, including processing transactions and reconciling cash and credit card sales.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, interview, and hire new staff members, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Monitor and control store expenses, including inventory, supplies, and utilities.
- Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed, and that all employees are aware of and comply with company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of success in managing teams, driving sales growth, and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
