Position Overview

The Speech Language Pathologist plays a crucial role in assessing and delivering therapeutic services to a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, infants, toddlers, school-aged children, adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing communication and swallowing disorders. This position involves planning, organizing, and coordinating care for all assigned patients.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, the Speech Language Pathologist will:

  • Establish outcome goals and implement skilled interventions.
  • Utilize agency and community resources effectively to promote patient and family independence in home care settings.
Job Qualifications
  • Mandatory: Speech-Language Pathology license from LBESPA / ASHA Certification
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience is necessary, with pediatric experience preferred
  • Experience in acute and inpatient rehabilitation settings is advantageous
  • Ability to work with patients aged 0 to 21 years
