Position Overview:

We are seeking a committed and empathetic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team. This role is essential in fostering effective communication skills among students, enabling them to excel in their academic pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments of speech and language abilities for students.
  • Create tailored intervention plans aimed at addressing various communication challenges.
  • Deliver therapeutic services through both individual and group sessions to enhance students' speech and language skills.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Regularly track and document student progress, adjusting therapeutic techniques as necessary.
  • Engage in IEP meetings to provide critical insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Certification from ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for certification.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a school or pediatric environment is preferred, but we welcome applications from new graduates.
