Position Title: Operations Control Center Quality Assurance Auditor

Department: Operations Control Center Quality Assurance

Reporting To: Operations Control Center Quality Assurance Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The OCC Quality Assurance Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring the precision and reliability of flight operations data entered into the MISA Flight Data Maintenance system. This position involves conducting thorough audits across various OCC departments to uphold the highest standards of quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform daily audits of the MISA Flight Data Maintenance system, adhering to all applicable company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Guarantee the accountability, accuracy, and completeness of all pertinent data within the MISA Flight Data Maintenance system.
  • Proactively identify and address issues to maintain data integrity, which may involve coordinating log page corrections with relevant personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Records Department to ensure seamless log page correction processes.
  • Engage with other OCC departments as necessary to confirm the accuracy of MISA data.
  • Support comprehensive audits of OCC departments in line with the Quality Assurance Program.
  • Assist in the creation of detailed audit reports.
  • Propose enhancements to processes and procedures to foster continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze repeat findings to effectively identify and address negative trends.
  • Participate in special audits as requested by management in response to identified trends or concerns.
  • Carry out additional related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY ROLE:

This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are essential:

  • High school diploma required; some college education or technical training is preferred.
  • Experience in a FAR 121/135 Operations Control Center is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficient in computer usage; familiarity with software and procedures utilized in Kalitta Air OCC is preferred.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to speak, read, and write in English, ensuring effective communication relevant to safety, security, and operational control.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:

Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
