POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations Control Center Quality Assurance Auditor is tasked with ensuring the precision and reliability of flight operations data as recorded in the MISA Flight Data Maintenance interface. This role involves conducting thorough audits across various departments within the Operations Control Center.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily evaluations of the MISA Flight Data Maintenance interface, adhering to all applicable company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Guarantee the accountability, accuracy, and completeness of all pertinent data within the MISA Flight Data Maintenance interface.
- Proactively identify and rectify issues to uphold the accuracy and integrity of data, which may involve initiating log page corrections with relevant crew members.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Records Department to coordinate log page corrections.
- Engage with other departments within the Operations Control Center as necessary to ensure the accuracy of MISA data.
- Support the execution of comprehensive audits of OCC departments in line with the Quality Assurance Program.
- Assist in the creation of detailed audit reports.
- Propose enhancements to processes and procedures to foster continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze recurring findings to effectively identify negative trends.
- Participate in special audits as requested by management in response to identified trends or concerns.
- Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY ROLE:
This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are essential:
- High school diploma required; additional college or technical training is advantageous.
- Experience in a FAR 121/135 Operations Control Center is preferred.
- Self-driven and capable of collaborating with cross-departmental teams.
- Proficient in computer usage; familiarity with software and procedures utilized in Kalitta Air's Operations Control Center is preferred.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, including speaking, reading, and writing, to ensure adequate interaction with other areas relevant to safety, security, and operational control.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:
Must possess the ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, as well as converting between different units of measure.
