Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) as a Quality Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating and analyzing quality issues on Genesis, Hyundai & KIA vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate Quality Issues: Conduct thorough investigations to identify and report quality issues to affiliates.
  • Analyze Warranty Data: Conduct warranty analysis and root cause analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct On-Site Investigations: Travel to various locations to conduct on-site investigations and capture accurate conditions.
  • Improve Vehicle Quality: Work on 'Perceived and Emotional Quality' in North America to ensure vehicles meet the highest standards.
  • Lead Vehicle Platform Audits: Conduct benchmark studies and lead vehicle platform audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with Vehicle Technology: Collaborate with vehicle technology teams, including telematics and infotainment systems.
  • Travel and Collaboration: Travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Power Point, hands-on experience with vehicle & electronic systems, and familiarity with current automotive technology trends.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Driving Record.
