Store Operations Manager

Job Title: General Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our store operations and drive profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing high-volume, guest-focused environments and will be responsible for leading a team of up to 45 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Friendly: Establish an environment of prompt, efficient, and courteous service, effectively engage in conflict management, and lead and direct positive and professional relationships with co-workers, direct reports, guests, and vendors.
- Food: Drive excellence in food service by executing designed processes, implementing goals to increase sales and margin, ensuring product quality, and using training resources.
- Clean: Encourage and manage a high standard of store cleanliness, direct, monitor, and adhere to all RaceTrac, federal, state, and local safety-related regulations, including food safety regulations.
- Building Talent: Demonstrate RaceTrac's Core Values of Honesty, Efficiency, Positive Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork, display RaceTrac's Leadership Qualities through acting with a servant-leader mentality, prioritizing tasks appropriately, going the extra mile for guests and your team, listening, and communicating respectfully, and solving problems with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Driving Success: Strategically direct control of inventory and the distribution of materials, merchandise, and supplies, review financial statements, sales, analysis reports, and other performance data to measure productivity, actively identify areas of operational improvements based on market trends, develop and maintain a relationship with vendors to ensure efficient and correct deliveries.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed
- 5+ years of prior food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience; retail management experience preferred
- Previous experience working in high-volume, guest-focused, transactional environment preferred
- Knowledge and skills in analyzing overall financial performance of the store including profit and loss statements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven knowledge of Labor Laws and staffing best practices
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job
- Must obtain and maintain Manager Food Handler certification
- May be required to obtain and maintain alcohol server permit, based on local or state requirements
