Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive System Engineering and Technical Systems (SETA) support, delivering expertise to the sponsor across various aspects of a complex technical policy and governance framework.
  • Develop concise reports and presentations that effectively communicate intricate programs and systems to support technology governance.
  • Assess, document, and manage stakeholder expectations in alignment with the sponsor's objectives.
  • Support sponsor management in refining or establishing processes to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Assist the sponsor in evaluating, documenting, and monitoring program requirements along with follow-up technical exchange meetings (TEMs).
  • Draft and maintain correspondence documents, including operational procedures and internal memos.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, overcoming obstacles and delivering timely results or recommending the most relevant course of action.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience; an additional four years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a systems engineering role or a similar capacity with the sponsor.
  • Proven experience in supporting the sponsor effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop technical requirements and conduct thorough technical reviews of documentation.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Ability to operate independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
Desired:
  • Experience in cable writing.
  • Certifications in Project Management or Systems Engineering.
