We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer to provide comprehensive System Engineering and Technical Systems (SETA) support, delivering expertise to our sponsor across various facets of a complex technical policy and governance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed reports and presentations that clearly articulate intricate programs and systems, aiding in the governance of technology.
- Ensure stakeholder expectations are validated, documented, and managed in alignment with the sponsor's objectives.
- Support management in refining or establishing processes to effectively implement strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the evaluation, documentation, and tracking of program requirements and follow-up technical exchange meetings (TEMs).
- Draft and maintain essential correspondence documents, including operational procedures and internal memoranda.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, addressing challenges and delivering timely results or recommending the most pertinent course of action.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience; an additional four years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a systems engineering role or a similar capacity with the sponsor.
- Proven experience in supporting the sponsor's initiatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in developing technical requirements and conducting thorough reviews of documentation.
- Self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
- Experience in cable writing.
- Certifications in Project Management or Systems Engineering.
