Role Overview:
As a Community Prevention Advocate at Brandywine Counseling, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering educational programs focused on prevention.
- Building partnerships with various organizations to further our prevention initiatives and organizational objectives.
- Collaborating closely with different programs within our organization.
- Conducting educational sessions in the community and participating in various task forces, coalitions, and community meetings.

This role encompasses a variety of tasks, requiring a solid understanding of the agency's diverse services and collaborative programs to effectively communicate them to the community.

Key Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
Mandatory:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience, particularly in the field of substance abuse prevention.
- Experience working with children and adolescents, as this is the target demographic.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid driver's license with no more than 2 points and access to a personal vehicle.
Preferred:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as social services or communications.
Work Schedule:
Typical hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and evenings required for community events.
Compensation:
The starting salary is $18/hour, commensurate with experience and education.
