Position Purpose:
This role involves overseeing and coordinating daily living skills, which encompass personal care, recreational activities, meal preparation, and household tasks. The position is also responsible for the recruitment, training, and supervision of all assigned personnel.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee behaviorally intensive residential group homes or day programs.
- Encourage individual choice, provide necessary support, and coordinate activities that promote well-being and personal growth.
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop Individual Support Plans (ISP).
- Ensure implementation of all services and guidelines outlined in each individual's ISP.
- Adhere to all organizational and regulatory policies.
- Participate in Quality Service Reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date training for staff and self.
- Manage program budgets and petty cash responsibly.
Advocate for individuals and empower them to advocate for themselves.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with colleagues, supervisors, families, and other team members.
- Maintain accurate records in the designated management system, including data entry and case notes.
- Audit staff entries for compliance.
- Collaborate with the program nurse to address all medical needs and ensure adherence to doctors' orders.
- Administer medications in accordance with regulations and ensure proper availability.
- Safeguard individuals' rights and safety by following privacy regulations and reporting any incidents of abuse or neglect.
- Respond to emergencies or behavioral incidents as necessary.
- Complete required reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for all individuals.
- Conduct community outings, appointments, and family visits as needed.
- Document wellness checks as required.
- Update emergency information promptly.
- Complete monthly billing tasks as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in human services, with at least one year in a behaviorally intensive setting.
- Two years of experience in staff development and supervision.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Professional demeanor when representing individuals and the organization.
- Must maintain certifications in PMT, CPR, and relevant medication administration.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Physical endurance to perform PMT holds.
- Ability to assist with personal care tasks, including lifting and transferring individuals.
