Job Overview

This position also serves as a vital resource for banking centers, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the bank's operations, core systems, and all relevant policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily reviews of designated new account and maintenance reports to ensure proper authorization and that all necessary documentation is accurately filed and uploaded.
  • Maintain appropriate paper and electronic documentation within the department to validate the review processes, ensuring all records are signed off by a supervisor or designated manager for external audits.
  • Generate and review the Deposit Exception Report daily to ensure any missing documentation is accurately recorded as per established procedures.
  • Examine original Individual Retirement Account (IRA) documentation to confirm that all required files are uploaded to the Image Center.
  • Verify the accuracy of contributions, distributions, and closure transactions on IRA accounts, ensuring correct IRS reporting codes are applied.
  • Oversee the accuracy and completeness of all Depository Rate Variance Forms received by Branch Operations.
  • Review Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) documentation daily to ensure completeness and proper filing.
  • Manage file documentation for all DEBIT/ATM increase forms, confirming completeness and necessary approvals.
  • Provide support to banking centers with a thorough understanding of operations affecting customer interactions, new account openings, and teller transactions.
  • Resolve teller and CSR system issues promptly, including case submissions and management.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of all bank products and services, capable of addressing inquiries with managerial support as needed.
  • Assist in the review and approval of teller cash reconciliation general ledgers.
  • Develop procedures, job aids, and forms in collaboration with various departments, subject to managerial approval.
  • Participate in training sessions on branch procedures and processes, including new accounts and teller operations.
  • Support various projects, assignments, and initiatives as directed by management.
  • Complete ongoing training to maintain compliance knowledge requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required; an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a retail banking or branch operations environment is essential.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of traditional banking operational policies and procedures is necessary.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage overall workload efficiently.
  • Strong time management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are required.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with team members across all departments and branch locations.
