Job Title: Cardiac Vascular Sonographer Reg PT Days

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Kennestone Hospital. As a Cardiac Vascular Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing cardiac and vascular imaging procedures, including echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, and other related studies. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our department.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cardiac and vascular imaging procedures, including echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, and other related studies.
  • Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the success of our department by maintaining a high level of productivity and quality.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy and pathology.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in cardiac and vascular imaging.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and service.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve your skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in echocardiography or vascular sonography.
  • ARRT Vascular Sonography certification.
  • Reg Vascular Specialist certification.
  • Reg Vascular Technologist certification.
  • Reg Cardiac Sonographer - CCI certification.
  • Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer certification.
  • Reg Diag Card Sono Adult Echo certification.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • BLS - Instructor certification.
  • BLS - Provisional certification.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The Cardiac Vascular Sonographer will be required to work in a variety of settings, including the hospital and outpatient clinics. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
