Job Title: Cardiac Vascular Sonographer Reg

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Vascular Sonographer Reg to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong foundation in echocardiography and vascular sonography.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all cardiac imaging, including adult, pediatric, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
  • Conduct all vascular imaging, including carotid duplex, ankle-brachial index, AAA screening, and upper and lower extremity arterial and venous scans.
  • Obtain and present clinical information regarding job responsibilities on a routine basis.
  • Explain or give directions to maintain goodwill and obtain cooperation with all contacts.
  • Function independently and under pressure while actively participating in a team environment.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills at all times.
  • Perform effectively in a stressful and fast-paced work environment.
  • Prioritize appropriately and multitask throughout the work shift.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited program.
  • Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in echocardiography or vascular sonography.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • ARRT Vascular Sonography certification.
  • Reg Vascular Specialist certification.
