We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist Reg to join our team at Kennestone Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
- Position patients for optimal imaging results, using your knowledge of anatomy and pathology.
- Operate MRI equipment, including adjusting technique and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, providing clear and concise information.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting, preferably in MRI.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the option to become an instructor.
