Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Kennestone Hospital. As a Cardiac MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures, including cardiac MRI scans, to help diagnose and treat diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac MRI scans, including preparation and positioning of patients
  • Operate MRI equipment, including adjusting technique and image quality
  • Report problems with equipment to supervisor or service provider
  • Clean and maintain equipment, adhering to infection control policies
  • Obtain complete clinical history and gather examination data
  • Assess for contraindicating conditions and follow established procedures
  • Release patients after studies have been completed
  • Respond to emergency situations and assist other technologists as needed
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R
  • Successful completion of WellStar's Cardiac MRI training program
  • Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a clinical setting caring for patients
  • Experience in MRI clinical setting
