Job Title: Events and Education Associate

Eataly North America is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Events and Education Associate to join our team. As a key member of our events and education team, you will be responsible for assisting guests with making informed shopping decisions through sharing the stories of the people and places behind Eataly's products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding product availability, usage, and services offered
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of Eataly's products through training and active use of our product library
  • Communicate daily/monthly new information to Eataly teams
  • Prepare and execute product tastings and demonstrations
  • Interact with Eataly teams and vendors, passing information on to Buying, Private Events, and Public Relations teams
  • Assist with events, such as feste and sagre, and tours for guests
  • Circulate store regularly to ensure shopping carts are available
  • Open and close cash till and ensure accurate accounting of transactions
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of and passion for Italian food and beverage
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Outgoing personality and ability to sell
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Retail and/or restaurant experience preferred
