Job Title: Metering Technician

Job Summary:
Veolia North America is seeking a skilled Metering Technician to join our team. As a Metering Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including repairs, tests, and programming of electronic and mechanical meters.

Key Responsibilities:
Respond to service orders concerning customers, including equipment change-outs, device commissioning, and system troubleshooting.
Use specific software to commission/program electronic/thermal/water meters, and remote data collection hardware, and complete all relevant paperwork associated with the assignment.
Coordinate electrician presence onsite and execute project micro-management upon completion-follow up on any new opportunities.
Communicate with customers, contractors, and co-workers, and respond to inquiries in a timely fashion.
Perform other duties as required including occasional drawing reviews/updates, tenant surveys, and occasional meter reading.

Requirements:
An associate's or Bachelor's Degree in electronics, computer technician, or instrumentation is strongly preferred.
At least two years of related field work experience or any equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Demonstrates knowledge of programming, testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of electronic and mechanical meters.
Strong PC skills as well as demonstrated skills in reading sub-meter drawings, diagrams, and wiring layouts.
Proven proficiency in Visio and AutoCAD.
Ability to work collaboratively with customers and vendors, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Reliable team player. An organized self-starter, able to follow standard procedures, prioritize assignments, and address problems as they arise or seek appropriate help.
