About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tissue Recovery Technician to join our team at Donor Network of Arizona. As a key member of our Tissue Recovery Department, you will play a critical role in assisting with donor activities and performing tissue recovery procedures according to protocol and policy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of biological sciences and excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills. Previous experience in surgical technology or a related field is preferred, but not required.

As a Tissue Recovery Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe operating room environment, adhering to FDA guidelines, and performing other duties as requested by the leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with donor activities and perform tissue recovery procedures according to protocol and policy
  • Maintain a clean and safe operating room environment
  • Adhere to FDA guidelines and departmental standard operating procedures
  • Perform other duties as requested by the leadership team

Requirements:

  • H.S. Diploma
  • Minimum Experience 0- 6 months (1- 2Years experience preferred)
  • Surgical technology background preferred
  • Knowledge of biological sciences preferred
  • Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
  • Physically demanding position with the ability to lift 50-75lbs

Shifts and Travel:

Shifts available: 11am-7pm OR 2p-10pm/5 days a week to include some weekends and holidays. Some out of town travel associated.
