Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-house payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations

• Assist in the compilation of payroll, federal, state, and benefit tax returns

• Prepare periodic reports on labor, earnings, taxes, and deductions, and reconcile payroll on a quarterly basis

• Assist in the preparation of monthly journal entries for labor costs and payroll costs

• Support the monthly general ledger closing process, including processing accounts payable invoices and resolving discrepancies

• Collaborate with the team to complete special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience processing in-house payroll

• Proficiency in various accounting software packages, including Kronos, Solomon, and Crystal Reports

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong Microsoft Office skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
