Payroll Specialist/HR Generalist

A dynamic and forward-thinking organization is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist/HR Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources and payroll, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive human resources plans and procedures to drive business success.
  • Design and manage compensation programs, including annual salary surveys and merit pools.
  • Provide expert guidance on employment laws, regulations, and policies, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Manage benefits, compensation, and payroll functions, including open enrollment and COBRA administration.
  • Process payroll for hourly and salary employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including W-2 and 1099 processing.
  • Manage new hire onboarding, including e-Verify and I-9 documentation.
  • Process garnishments, levies, and other wage withholding orders.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in HR Generalist role.
  • 2-4 years of clerical experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-year college degree and/or exclusive training/experience in all HR subject matter.
  • Proficient in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Outlook, and MS-PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
