Job Title: MSW Academic Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented MSW Academic Program Coordinator to support the ongoing coordination of integrated activities across the School of Social Work's priorities and initiatives for the MSW program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage program core functions, including responding to student, faculty, and staff requests and issues, preparing purchase requests, supplies, and reimbursement, and maintaining programmatic Google Drive.
  • Support course management, including creating, distributing, and organizing Community Embedded Faculty teaching requests and confirmations, managing course scheduling processes in Banner, and facilitating onboarding process for teaching faculty.
  • Provide administrative support to the Office of Student Success, including setting up for events and assisting with MSW check-in for graduations.
  • Collaborate with the MSW Program Director to review Registration Difficulty Forms and issue Overrides each semester, and monitor the budget with the MSW Program Director and meet with the Finance office monthly to review the program budget.
  • Lead creation and distribution of MSW Program newsletter to students and faculty, and communicate MSW events and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and in collaborative teams, while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong oral, interpersonnel, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent and responsive customer service to a diverse population.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters in a manner that is consistent with confidentiality and privacy practices.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work successfully in both an in-person and remote environment.
