Job Summary

Sibylline Americas is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Technology Coordinator to join our team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our Crisis Communication and Active Threat (CCAT) team, you will provide technical support to our 24/7 operations team, ensuring the seamless administration and development of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with support activities and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
  • Provide meeting readouts and draft business requirement documents (BRDs) to facilitate effective communication.
  • Learn to manage the life-cycle of technology projects, from planning to implementation.
  • Support the team during high-pressure crisis response situations, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.
  • Exercise creativity in delivering timely and sustainable technology solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Actively review existing systems and policies for quality issues and opportunities, applying industry best practices to drive improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in a technical or security-based role, preferably in a crisis response or incident management environment.
  • Organized self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn about incident response technology, with a focus on crisis communication and active threat response.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as a Master's or Ph.D. in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience with communication systems, such as Slack, and business applications, such as Excel or Numbers.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Wrike, and ticketing systems, such as Jira.
  • Experience with analytical and emergency response software, such as Tableau, Everbridge, or Veoci.
  • Experience with structured IT service software, such as ServiceNow.
