About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. As a leader in the kitchen, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of daily food production, preparation, and presentation. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to create and implement seasonal menus, manage kitchen finances, and ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily ordering and inventory management to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve high-quality food production and presentation
  • Manage kitchen finances, including budgeting and cost control
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu concepts and specials
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Represent the culinary team at meetings and communicate effectively with other departments

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working in high-volume professional kitchens
  • College degree in culinary arts or related field
  • Proven track record of creative menu development and execution
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
