Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Director, Deputy, and team leadership on all strategic initiative requirements;
  • Support the Director and Deputy in preparing presentations, reports, and summaries for leadership and events;
  • Assist in drafting memorandums, reports, and other essential documents for key stakeholders;
  • Coordinate notifications to stakeholders regarding significant travel;
  • Act as a central liaison for political, coalition, and special project events, including drafting and submitting relevant memos;
  • Oversee travel arrangements for team members, including securing flights and accommodations;
  • Manage projects that span across departments and teams;
  • Facilitate both short-term and long-term goal setting, accountability, and reporting;
  • Provide strategic advice and support to the Director and Deputy Director; assume daily oversight of projects and tasks;
  • Establish and nurture cross-departmental relationships to foster leadership success;
  • Develop systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and maximize outputs;
  • Ensure that achievements and information are communicated effectively;
  • Contribute to shaping team culture, encouraging collaboration, and offering professional development opportunities;
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the department's mission.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in political committees, campaigns, or non-profit organizations;
  • A strong political acumen and a diplomatic approach to problem-solving;
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in engaging with organizational leadership;
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively to complete projects;
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work;
  • A genuine interest in understanding the management and organizational dynamics of a successful team.
