Overview:
The Enrollment Representative II plays a crucial role in managing daily operational tasks related to membership and enrollment processes. This includes handling applications for new enrollments, terminations, cancellations, changes, renewals, and maintaining database accuracy and monthly billing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- 50%: Receives and logs enrollment applications into the system. Processes complex applications including new enrollments, terminations, cancellations, changes, and renewals. Ensures all electronic enrollment records are updated and accurate. Works on edit/error reports generated from membership transactions.
- 15%: Collaborates with various operational departments to confirm the appropriate group structure, status, benefits, and billing information. May be responsible for preparing and issuing contracts, benefit documentation, and standard or custom identification cards.
- 15%: Addresses and resolves customer inquiries. Engages with plan administrators and both internal and external customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- 10%: Provides training for new staff members and maintains accurate desk procedures. Assists in problem-solving as needed.
- 10%: Manages monthly billing processes and prepares invoices. May be involved in printing, registering, and mailing monthly statements.
Required Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer service, administrative support, or a combination of both. At least 1 year of experience in a membership, billing, or accounts-related role (experience may overlap).
Preferred Specialized Training: Training in office technology or secretarial science.
Languages: English.
