This role is a full-time position (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00 at the Percival location. After 6 months of training, this position has the possibility to be fully trained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and log subscriber and member enrollment applications to the system.
- Update all electronic enrollment files.
- Work edit/error reports generated from membership transactions.
- Collaborate with multiple operational areas to ensure relevant/appropriate group structure, status, benefits, and/or billing.
- Prepare and issue contracts, benefit books, and standard and custom ID cards.
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries.
- Communicate with plan administrators and internal and external customers to resolve issues/problems.
- Train new staff and maintain accurate desk procedures. Assist with problem resolution.
- Coordinate monthly billing and preparations of monthly invoices.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of customer service, administration/clerical support or a combination of the two. 1 year of experience in a membership/billing/accounts area (may be concurrent).
- Ability to acquire knowledge of the membership system.
- Good judgment.
- Effective customer service and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills.
- Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others.
- Analytical or critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
- Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior customer service experience.
- Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
