About the Position

HASC Center is a leading provider of support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Overnight Awake Direct Support Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to person-centered support and a willingness to work with individuals with varying levels of need. As a Residential Support Professional, you will provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering, toileting, grooming, laundry, and housekeeping, as well as assist with community outings and daily living skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support with ADLs and daily living skills in accordance with individual plans
  • Assist with community outings and socialization
  • Document outcomes and observations using a computer documentation program
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a positive and encouraging environment
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and city regulations regarding service provision and documentation

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college a plus
  • Work or life experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities a plus
  • Ability to support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
