At Institute for Comm Living, we are committed to providing high-quality support services to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team.
Work Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm.
Our residential programs provide a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals to grow and develop their skills. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with their daily living needs, including personal hygiene, toileting, lifts, and transfers, dining, dressing, and meal preparation.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and services to promote community integration and independence.
- Assist individuals with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help individuals participate in recreational activities and develop daily living skills.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to carry out and record care plans.
- Administer medication as instructed and ensure the health and safety of individuals in emergency situations.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or equivalent, or a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Certificate from an accredited organization. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.
