Job Title: Technical Accounting Manager

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Technical Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. As a Technical Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, developing effective financial strategies, implementing proper internal controls, and playing a key role in corporate financial decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the application and implementation of technical accounting standards, including ASC 842 Lease Accounting and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.
  • Prepare, review, and release timely and complete financial statements.
  • Supervise and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Work closely with the finance team and other departments to improve financial procedures.
  • Conduct regular ledger activities, including reviewing and analyzing.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls and financial policies.
  • Lead the preparation for the annual audit.
  • Use NetSuite for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of technical accounting experience, preferably in the finance industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of ASC 842 Lease Accounting, ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar accounting software.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
