Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager with technical accounting expertise to join our Accounting Advisory Services practice. This individual will play a key role in expanding our service offerings, specifically in IPO readiness, SEC reporting, financial advisory, and technical accounting. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of technical accounting, financial reporting, and business development skills, with a strong ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a growing team of accounting professionals
  • Develop and implement technical accounting strategies to drive business growth
  • Provide expert guidance on IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and financial advisory services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client service

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related concentration preferred
  • CPA certification required
  • 8+ years of experience in external audit and internal finance/accounting roles, with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a CFO or in the CFO's office
  • Prior Big 4 public company audit experience
  • Prior IPO and SEC Reporting experience
  • Demonstrated team supervision and management experience with team accountability
  • Demonstrated expertise in business development, strategy, and practice development

Compensation

Annual Base Pay Range in California: $125,000 to $175,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
