About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Culinary Aide to join our team at DaySpring Senior Living. As a Culinary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with meal preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dining experiences for residents.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Cook to plan and execute menus, ensuring nutritional and dietary needs are met.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and perform hand washing duties as needed.
  • Bus and sanitize tables after meals, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Respond to resident requests for assistance, providing support and care as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Adhere to facility infection control policies and procedures.
  • Arrive on time and be prepared to perform job responsibilities.
  • Ensure meals are served promptly and at the correct temperature.
  • Exhibit a positive and patient attitude towards residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Receive and store incoming food and supplies, maintaining accurate inventory.
  • Comply with state regulations regarding dietary services.
  • Establish and maintain dietary goals to meet the needs of the department and residents.
  • Present a professional image through attire and personal grooming.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
